Wolfgang Tillmans in Berlin Between Bridges moved to Germany

The photographer Wolfgang Tillmans has spent the last 23 years in London, where he has operated the Between Bridges gallery. Following his private relocation to Berlin, his Between Bridges exhibition centre was also moved to the German capital city.

Tillmans, whose own work has been exhibited all over the world, is switching from artist to gallery owner for his project space. In Between Bridges, the photographer, who was awarded the Turner Prize, shows artists who are not at the centre of the market. The first exhibition focuses on the British painter and illustrator Patrick Caulfield.

The non-commercial project space Between Bridges in the West of Berlin is celebrating two premieres: the first exhibition at Tillmans’ German gallery and Caulfield’s first individual exhibition in Germany.

The exhibition runs until 8 March, 2014. Further information: http://betweenbridges.net
